Explore the use of banking assets to assist non-profit organizations to
reduce operating costs

• Review banking resources that can be used to provide community-based solutions
• Identify standards organizations related to our mission & determine any synergies
• Map potential relationships between government, or others, and banks with respect to charitable activities (i.e., authorization, eligibility and distribution of funds). This can help to reduce identity workflows during times of crisis using a pre-determined funding source that can be used with an accredited merchant list.
• Workgroup members invited to become part of Advisory Panel for “Charitable Communities Network | SHARENET.TV”, a non-profit organization founded by MBProject

Accomplishments

• "Charitable Communities Network" (CCN) beta portal that connects providers and individuals in need to charitable organizations which can provide help. CCN also provides a way for local organizations and congregations to list services and events for those in need in their respective communities. Ultimately, CCN will allow real-time disbursement of charitable funds to qualified applicants.
