About SOMBEX

The Society of Medical Banking Excellence is being established to foster the creation of digital infrastructures that can be used with confidence for efficiently testing and implementing EDI processing techniques and analytics in medical payment channels. Through cross-industry dialogue we are attempting to bridge the medical and banking complex. This involves identifying stakeholders, seeking grant funds for projects that demonstrate the value of cross-industry development and other activities.

The SOMBEX Online Directory is a categorized listing of companies that aids in searching for locating service providers. The directory is categorized into five general areas: education, compliance, legal, technical and other services. Membership includes a free listing in the SOMBEX Online Directory. Non-member packages are also available.
