Second
National Medical Banking Institute
Date: March 2003
Event: 6th National HIPAA Summit
Location: Washington, DC
Synopsis:
After our first all day event we received numerous
requests to hold a second institute. The event is once
again being organized as a special preconference symposium
(II) of the 6th National HIPAA Summit in Washington,
DC, on March 26, 2003. We have a host of topics to cover
and have attempted to put together a mix of staff that
starts to move from regulatory analysis to operational
compliance (our first institute focused solely on regulatory
analysis). As HIPAA evolves, there will be a need for
ongoing regulatory and legal analysis of emerging eHealth/eFinance
hybrid commercial services as well as an open forum to
showcase new business and operating models.
