Medical Banking™ is a trademark of the Medical Banking Project (a.k.a. MBProject). MBProject authorizes use of the term with the proper trademark designation and credit as follows: "Medical banking is a trademark of the Medical Banking Project (a.k.a. MBProject)."

Medical banking was coined by John Casillas, the founder of the Medical Banking Project, to denote "the latent integration of banking technology, infrastructure and credit with healthcare administrative operations".  It involves a broad area of both theoretical and applied research in the areas of education, policy and commerce.
